Glad to hear the pup is healing up. What emergency Vet did you go to in Montgomery? That is probably where I would have to go as well and $300 sure is reasonable. That would have been double in Pensacola just for the initial exam at one of the emergency vets after hours. Carriage Hills Animal Hospital in Montgomery is the only emergency after hours vet in the region. It was $189 just to walk in the door at 9:30 last night. $301 for the entire visit. The vet said they had already treated a snake bite that evening and figured our dog was going to be the same thing.
