I'm bad about writing lengthy posts, reviewing and editing them and then forgetting to hit the post button and it looks like I've done that again. I was pointing out that America is not at war with Iran, per se, but with the regime that is run by fanatics that are holding the Persian and Kurdish et al. population hostage. That is who we are at war with. That is who we need to take down. Apparently, Trump realizes this and that is why we have bent over backwards to avoid mass civilian casualties. With our superiority in missile and air attacks, we could have long ago ended this but it would have been at a high cost to the civilian population in Iran. This is one of the big dilemmas countries face when fighting terrorism. When there is damage to the civilian population you always run the risk of creating more terrorists. Personally, I would have done this the way Trump has except I would not have "negotiated" with a group knowing they are just stalling for time and have never negotiated in good faith. If I know this then surely Trump and his advisers know it also. I would have bombed every military target they have and keep bombing every time they launch a rocket since we can pinpoint those exact locations in real time.

Meanwhile, I would have ours, and Israel's assets do what they can to encourage an overthrowing of the Mullahs. They would know better than I about the likelihood of that happening. If that doesn't look likely, then perhaps it is time to take out some key bridges and power plants. The Mullahs plan to cause us, as civilians, energy inconvenience, it might be time soon to return the favor, again though, I hate to do this against a civilian population that really is not our enemy.

In summary, I think Trump and his crew have a plan and don't want to take the gloves completely off. Despite what our Jew hating group on here claim, Bibi is not running Trump, but the other way around. Trump and crew have convinced Israel to hold off on attacking civilian harming targets. How long that will last, I have no idea, but for right now, it seems to be working together with a total blockade of their ports

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
