That's a beautiful rifle!! I have a Remington Mohawk 600 Mannlicher in .308. Built for Remington in Germany by Anschutz to try and break into the European Mannlicher market. The barreled actions were sent over for Anschutx to finish with the full stock. Europeans didn't take to them and these were then sold only at US military bases in the PX. It't not known if any were imported back to the US but several were brought back by returning servicemen. Less than 200 exist and I bought mine from a retired Air Force Airman in OCR.
