That’s the real issue. Back in the mid 80s I worked with my former and his dad building the first subdivision on county line rd in Madison we were actually in limestone but got access to Madison city schools which was a draw. I still haven’t found it in person and my brother doesn’t live far from it. It is absolutely astounding at how much has been built there.

It’s the same here in the shoals and still recall Wilson Dam Rd was all chert gravel. The hunting woods was in the middle of nowhere and now house all all around. The biggest deer are being killed around subdivisions

During the 80s everyone hunted public for deer and there would be bumper to bumper to get to the check station to get that permit for the day. All the stores along the way selling sausage and baloney biscuits and thick sliced baloney and cheese sandwiches for lunch. It was somewhat festive to be honest.

These days it’s like hunting nascar style lol
