A spot in Dallas County was looked at as a Nuclear Power Plant site, but my understanding is that went away over geology concerns. Now it has come up again as a site for mini reactors. AL power already owns the land so that hurdle is cleared. That property will eventually be some kind of power generation site. I'm surprised they haven't thrown solar panels up right away until they decide on nuke plant or another gas plant.
