Hunting is transitioning into a sport of the wealthy. Public lands will and have been inundated with new hunters. Look at all these new regulations on out of staters wanting to turkey hunt. How many states have changed rules making out of staters have to wait and be limited to opportunity. Arkansas did the same for ducks other public lands. The lease I was in started at $2500 10 years ago and then $5000 and this year $7500. Land workers want more money cause they can get it. There’s enough new hunters willing to pay. Public land is being pounded.

Landowners will do whatever it takes to keep game in their land.

Doesn’t matter if they’re traveling a few miles or few thousand. Money will corrupt the resource at some point.

Like I said careful what you wish for. You just might get it.

I get the Fourth Amendment angle and struggle with it and its application in this scenario. It’s land and not a structure so how does castle law mesh.
