New to putting up trail cams despite hunting for 10 years. I’ve set up 2 so far, one has been getting photos daily, the other in which I thought would get some hasn’t gotten any, it’s been a week. Would you guys switch the spot or just keep it as is for another few weeks and if nothing swap the spot?

Depends on when ya hunting. July patterns don't equal October or January patterns. If ya want inventory pics, throw out some mineral in an area. As far as cams go, I hang on intersections, rub lines, and community scrapes.
If no community scrape, I make a licking branch/scrape and hope it takes off.
