Maybe eventually, but anything nuke just takes too long and there is a need right now. Any construction in the near future will be gas plants. There’s no gas in Hollywood either. The proposed pumped storage facility across the river from Bellefonte is a greater possibility for our area.

Thats why Solar is constantly expanding. A large solar farm, though not as efficient as a gas or nuke plant can be slapped up in 1/10th the amount of time and cheaper.


Not to mention all the Government regs that a fossil plant has to deal with. Trust me I know. I've sat in enough EPC meetings to choke a goat.


The guy on another site that’s a nuclear guy says the exact thing. It wouldn’t cost near as much without all the regulations that are truly a moot point according to him. Says France and many others in Europe went green and has hurt their power grid badly
