In Florida visiting my mom. My nephew is a full time inshore guide down here so I always try to get a few hours with him on the water. We usually do decent but today was pretty good. Caught two good snook throwing under the docks. One 14lbs one 17lbs, got a Black Drum at 45lbs. One nice Red Fish probably 20lbs and my first Tarpon ever at 20lbs. Great morning. I love fishing here.

The true mark of a man is not how he conducts himself during times of prosperity, but how he conducts himself during times of adversity.

That's a good day. Never caught a Snook.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Heck yeah! I fish Port Charlotte with a cousin and once you catch a tarpon, you’ll keep going back.

That's a huge drum! Did you plan to eat it? I hear they are usually full of worms. (non fisher here, heard that from a beach fisherman)

That's awesome, I hear they stay through September now and are more plentiful in the Panhandle than years ago. Were you fishing today? Good to know I won't have to travel far once I finally have the time

Thursday morning we were in Destin between there and Ft Walton and mullet were everywhere. At one point, they were being chased heavily by at least 200 Bull Redfish. The guy standing in the water throwing castnet thought i said Bull sharks, and froze in fear. We caught about 50 mullet.

My buddy said around forty tarpon hooked yesterday morning.

Post up some pics when y'all get into some action and good luck.
