That plant has been a white elephant for as long as I can remember. TVA is a big government poster child. I know there are a lot of Libertarians who believe that anything the government can do the private sector can do it better. Private can do it better with the proper competition. In a vacuum private is no different that government.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
