People from Jackson Co Revenue Commissioners office have been known to come onto property unannounced . My father built a new house about 20 years ago. They had just moved in and noticed someone in the back yard looking around , it was "the Tax Man." He got a butt chewing for not coming to the front door and stating his business .

Reason I said satellite , they picked up our cabin , 4 wheeler shed , tractor shed and shooting houses from above a couple of years ago. Tried to tax me for shooting houses , that didn't go over too well.
