Well, to be completely fair, we kinda created that mess to begin with. Britain and BP were pissed the leadership was changing the rules of their stealing of Iranian Oil. It was truly pathetic. When Eisenhower took office, he was kinda consumed with beating communism. So the Brits, MI6 and CIA colluded to guide him into thinking Iranian leadership was getting snuggly with the USSR. So they worked to take him down and the Ayatollah came to power as a result.

Had we done none of that and let Iran have their sovereign rights over their own oil, we wouldn't be dealing with all the Shit Show and fallout since.

That said, there is NO denying Iran decided they wanted a fight with the US in the late 70's. They've been waging war either directly or mostly through proxies ever since. Numbers vary a bit. But it's somewhere between 600 to 1000 Americans killed by Iran or it's proxies.

So yeah, they need their asses kicked. And Washington needs to take the leash off and let the US military do what needs doing. Kill who needs killing and don't stop until complete surrender happens. No negotiations. Complete surrender.

That said, I probably wouldn't have picked this time to wage war on Iran. We have too many domestic issues at home needing handled. And maybe those things are and Iran is just a good distraction for the leftists, Rinos and Media.

But the resources we are using could be used far better at home than over seas.

I know the entire Straight of Hormuz thing is also Trump trying to dismantle UK dominance in the region. They've always meddled there and kept strife, division and wars going since way way back. Hell, I believe that's why they established Israel to begin with, and if so, it worked. As soon as Lloyds of london tried to punish Trump by cancelling insurance on shipping, he was right there to replace them before anyone could blink. That was planned and a brilliant move.

I'm sure there are a lot of other factors involved. Too many players all jockying for their own gain. But I know this for certainty. The world is a better place if Iran as we know it ceases to exist. Whole lotta assholes need killin for that to happen. We are in it. Like it or not. Need to finish it.
