Somebody might have already said this but I saw a video yesterday where the police went to a woman’s house and accused her of stealing from someone’s porch. They had printed pics from Flock showing her car going into the neigborhood. Ended up somehow it wasn’t really her car proven by witness of where she was at the time.

In United States v. Knotts (1983), the Supreme Court ruled unanimously that the warrantless monitoring of an electronic tracking device (a "beeper") in a container on public roads does not violate the Fourth Amendment.
Because a person traveling in public has no reasonable expectation of privacy in their movements, the Court reasoned that the beeper simply augmented the police's visual surveillance capabilities. The device did not track any movements that could not have been visually observed by an officer following the vehicle

They put those camera's up looking at playgrounds, hiking trails, and other places where there is no vehicle traffic at all. They do have facial recognition so that people can be stalked when they are not in their cars. A lot of pedo's are probably using them too.

No, Flock Safety cameras cannot be upgraded to use facial recognition, as their hardware and software are explicitly engineered for vehicle and object tracking rather than biometric identification. While Flock offers different models like the Falcon (fixed license plate reader) and the Condor (pan-tilt-zoom human tracking), the company states that none of its systems feature facial recognition or capture a person's identity

I guess you like Flock camera's. Why? No; that is an incorrect assumption. just trying to understand what they are capable of and what courts will be deciding. Flock will eventually upgrade to AI facial recognition. Their competitors Axon primarily, and the others are already doing it. Axon is most popular for police body camera's but their cameras are also the one's you usually see under light poles. Axon will probably beat Flock because they are more under the radar from public scrutiny. Yup, and thats for cameras that are directly on police doing police work. We hope it doesn't extend to non-police work but it will, it always does. If they are going to be on police officers, then it will be on their public surveillance cameras too. Paranoid and oppressive governments love that kind of thing.
