Last night I whipped up a rendition of Irish's yogurt chicken recipe. I adjusted the spices to my liking and even added some different ones. My accompaniments were of the Greek persuasion. I had Greek lemon rice, fresh diced tomatoes tossed in olive oil, a little lemon, parsley and kosher salt with home made pita chips and some avocado. The avocado was supposed to have been sliced but it was too ripe and soft so it was mashed up with salt, garlic and a little Tiger sauce. I approve of the lemon added! Can't have Greek without lemon! Plus, lemon is just perfection for any summer dish.
