I sometimes harvest the larger to put more energy into the smaller, but that's rare. Especially on the bells. My wife and I both want to harvest and use some of the bells and big jims. But have to make ourselves hold off to let them get as big as they can. I won't harvest unless they are turning color. What's the secret to bells? I've never been able to get them large like you find in stores
