I have a buddy that thinks the whole spherical world thing is a lie straight from Satan to make humans believe that they are nothing special. He says that the flat earth is biblical. He even has the really cool flat earth model showing how the sun and the moon are the same size and basically rotate around the flat earth like balls spinning above an album on a tune table. It's a really cool model that must have cost him quite a bit to buy it.
He swears he's seen angels and spirits when the Haiti earthquake happened. It's all very real in his world.
