There were some reels in FB mentioning the big 3 were developing bigger motors to increases hp and torque while helping with mpgs. Also longevity of the motors with more displacement and lower compression. A lot of mechanics are saying nothing really has changed for trucks in the mpgs category but reliability has taken a backseat. How many sensors are on a motor now.
Like mentioned you can buy an older truck but it’s gonna cost.
