I bet Outback buys a new truck every year You would lose. 🤣 The newest truck I own is a 2008 Chevy Silverado and the newest car is my wife’s 2012 Santa Fe. i thought the 08 silverados were designed not to exceed 6-7 yrs…impressive Its got 367,000 miles on it (with a few electrical gremlins) but otherwise runs great. I did replace the engine with a deleted 5.3L back in 2015. I change all my transmission and transfer case fluids every 100k and add Lucas Stabilizer. The key to vehicle life is removing all of the EPA garbage, or as much as possible, and regular maintenance. Those check engine lights are just decorative on my trucks, they’re ignored.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.
