The old 5.7 motor is the best motor (most dependable) they've made. Had one in the wife's Yukon and never had the first problem out of it. Kids drove it like they stole it, once they got old enough to drive. Still running strong when I sold it. GM is bringing back the 5.7L for the 2027 GMC And Chevy 1500’s and also the 6.6L is going to be an option in the 2027 1500’s as well. GM is retiring the 6.2L and 5.3L after 2026.
