My opinion? Go with the 6.2L gas engine. It’s the only GM engine that doesn’t have some type of cylinder deactivation AFM programming.
It’s reliable, powerful and most importantly it’s a lot of cubic inches. There is no replacement for displacement. Today’s diesel fuel is shit, absolute garbage. The little Mickey Mouse diesels rely heavily on turbo or double turbo which is nothing more than a money pit. There is no replacement for displacement. There is no replacement for displacement.
