Vortex Japan/Razor stuff is as reliable as anything out there, and much more than some stuff. I’ve sent some of my Leupold stuff back under warranty, but not yet on Vortex. I’ve got Razor LH scopes that I’ve had for years and a lot of rounds on all sorts of rifles. I’d take them anywhere. It’s possible some of the folks turning up their nose at them may have some sympathetic bias gained from others, along with some vernacular.  Think this one was from Philippines. Other than it got blurry it’s done well, been in some nasty weather and always has held zero fine on a .300 wm.
