Not only is it miserable hot but summer is too dang expensive. I’ve sprayed 120 gallons of Roundup just today. I think I’ve gone through 400+ gallons since early May. Bush hog blades, mower blades, gas and diesel fuel. I need to find an Eskimo family to adopt me from April through October.

I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

Are we? Officially, we're only a month into summer.

It's oppressively hot all the way through the end of September.

This afternoon will be bush hogging and mowing for me. Tomorrow I'll be spaying roundup. And I hate summer, too.

Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

For some reason or another, folks like to think that summer is almost over after the 4th. College football teams start "fall camp" the first of August. Yet it's still summer and most of them play 4 or 5 games during the summer season.

I spent the last few weeks bush hogging and today I was spraying fence rows where I ran the bush hog just two weeks ago. It looks like I was never there, it’s dang near grower up over the tractor hood again.

Which means hard freezes have nothing to do with the amount of bugs......

Yeah, I love when folks down here say a cold Winter will keep the skeeters at bay. They're worse in the cold States. Michigan and Maine are terrible.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I would gladly live somewhere much colder. My ideal would be Ireland where (for now) it’s cool summers and mild winters. Stateside, I’d happily be in Alaska (other than the price of stuff), PNW, upstate NY, somewhere. Hell just put me in those woods no one seems to live in in Canada.

Montana had the worst mosquitoes I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve lived in Florida my entire life.
Had an experience a few years ago where I got bit around the ankle while hiking in Montana. Only about 5-6 bites as that was what was exposed. Swelled up bad that day and after. Weird thing was a year later, I had a relapse and had another reaction. Never had that before or since.

As for the weather, I’m over this heat myself. I think it’s because I’ve gotten older but 3 shirts a day and 2 showers is getting old.🥵
