I watched the 1st 20 minutes or so, then went to Publix. I'm not a soccer fan, but this seems to be a big stage. Heck I might even watch a couple laps of Nascar this evening just to watch N. Wilkseboro come alive again. I ain't watched that in years! lol

Spain totally controlling play. I think 1 goal wins this thing. Spain just looks faster and more aggressive. Also, Argentina did not even get a shot in 1st half. Unless the Argentina gets lucky, Spain wins this thing. They haven’t given up but 1 goal in the WC and haven’t lost a match in over 2 years and I can see why. I’ll be done with it after this game. I think that it was played in America has gotten the interest up. Also, the most recognized name in soccer playing in the final ain’t hurt the ratings or interest.

Well I watched more soccer today than I ever have before. In total I watched about half of regulation and all over overtime. It was sure exciting once it got to nut cutting time. I even was able to figure out some of the rules of the game.
Argentina needs to give their Goalie a raise. He kept them in it to the end.
I never thought I would appreciate a sport where flopping is a required skill. Get touched and you're expected to take a dive. Sheesh, no wonder manly men make fun of soccer players.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Spain gave up one goal in the WC, eight games. Very impressive, glad they won.
Today, Argentina had no shots on goal in 120+ minutes. Argentina was exposed as a fraud today, they had help to get in the championship game. Argentina was the only team in the tournament to not play a top 15 ranked team until the semifinals. FIFA wanted Messi in this game for nostalgia and ratings.

I didn't know they already had all-star races there for about the last 3 years. I thought it was the initial race. Kinda took away from the wow factor. I made the green flag and watched about 15 laps. Then chimed in for about 5 laps 3 hours later. I'm good.
