Is anyone tracking the cost of fertilizer vs last year? Getting closer and closer to planting time and beginning to have big concerns,

I can't really recall last year, but I bought some 13-13-13 a couple weeks ago from my Co-op for $20 a bag with tax included.

This war is supposed to have driven fertilizer prices up.
Just trying to compare last years prices against current prices.

Triple 17 was around 2+ dollars higher than fall price when I bought some a few weeks ago for my chufa. This was at the Andalusia Co-op.

Very expensive! If you try to lime several fields and add fertilizer at planting time, along with good quality seeds, it is getting very expensive, especially for clubs trying to keep dues as low as possible. Leases are going up fast also.

Got prices from two places today on the cost of 13-13-13 fertilizer. What a SURPRISE - It only went up $.25 per bag from last year.
I was suspecting a much larger increase. Cost of the WMS seed was about the same as last year per bag.

Put down 2100 lbs of pellet lime today from ATV'S. It's least a start. Paid $4.95 for 20 lb bag of pellet lime at Rural King.

You are correct. It was a 40 lb bag. So tired, I can't type what I am thinking.

13-13-13 - 17.50 in Tville
17-17-17 - $20
Pellet line 40# bag - 7.50

Looks like John at Tville feed and seed beating the other guys prices. That is from the price sheet Trevor just sent me

Prattville Farm Center and Oak Grove Feed and Seed are cheaper on fertilizer and Rural King is much cheaper on pellet lime.
