You dont like or think that voter ID and proof of citizenship is needed in order to vote? States decide how to run their elections, not the Feds. Keep running down the "stolen election" rabbit hole. There is zero evidence of illegal voting in large enough numbers that swayed any federal election. The SAVE Act is nothing more the "Help Save White Republicans" act. Trump is just scared of how the midterms will turn out and is doing everything possible to suppress votes. If Alabama wants to reduce mail in votes, open up early voting just like 47 other states have done. I guess having folks provide photo ID and proof of citizenship is voter suppression?

I'm still waiting for him to answer....but typically those against requiring photo ID to vote will claim that minorities are somehow less able to obtain photo ID...despite the fact that most already have it because so many other things in our society already require it, and the fact that most states have programs in place for people who are physically unable to go get it...in many cases they'll literally come to you...and it's FREE. There's zero excuse....and typically, once you prove all their talking points wrong, they basically just end up insinuating that "minorities" are too stupid/lazy to to do it and/or they will all-but-say that non-citizens should be allowed to vote

If those against voter ID's were truly honest, they'd be forced to admit one (or more) of the following:
1. They want non-citizens to be allowed to vote 2. They are woefully un-informed about how cheap (free) and easy it is to get a valid photo ID 3. They truly believe minorities are too stupid and/or lazy to get said voter ID (how ironic that liberals would be so racist)
So, which is it?

Every body knows these elections in the democrat states are rigged. evidence after evidence is proven but never enough. My mother in law goes to vote in California and they just tell her "wev'e already voted for you" no shame in it at all, no one incident is ever enough.

That isn't entirely true, states run elections, but they do so within the limits of the Constitution and federal law. Saying there is “zero evidence” of illegal voting ignores documented cases of voter fraud and confuses “not enough to change an election outcome” with “none exists.” The SAVE Act is about verifying eligibility for federal elections, not race nor party. Disagree with the policy if you want, but labeling it a “white Republican” act is rhetoric, not an argument.
I believe this a topic that you have a dogmatic view of for some reason (most likely the media), the evidence is there if you want to see it.

I think everybody has seen enough evidence of fraud in Georgia that got 2 Dem senators elected that probably tipped the scales to the left ever since. I want to see something happen to the traitors.

Gomer is right in his assessment but what I don't understand is what is in the bill that would make a member of the GOP oppose it?
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Gomer is right in his assessment but what I don't understand is what is in the bill that would make a member of the GOP oppose it? That's the big question....both sides do that crap and it's infuriating. "Oh, you're against voter ID??" "No, I'm against all the other crap that was tacked onto it". So that may very likely be the case and I would accept that answer. I just can't fathom people that are against voter ID, specifically

Gomer is right in his assessment but what I don't understand is what is in the bill that would make a member of the GOP oppose it? AIPAC is against the SAVE act, thats why they support both Democrats and Republicans, and thats why I knew the bill would never pass. When a bill comes up like the SAVE Act that they oppose they can kill it just by controlling a handful of either side of aisle. They want to be able to cheat whenever it looks like they could lose the control that they have. Thune gets a huge amount of AIPAC money.

Outside of being a democrat, what part of this could you possibly be against specifically? H.R.22 — 119th Congress (2025-2026) This bill requires individuals to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote in federal elections. Specifically, the bill prohibits states from accepting and processing an application to register to vote in a federal election unless the applicant presents documentary proof of U.S. citizenship. The bill specifies what documents are considered acceptable proof of U.S. citizenship, such as identification that complies with the REAL ID Act of 2005 that indicates U.S. citizenship. Further, the bill (1) prohibits states from registering an individual to vote in a federal election unless, at the time the individual applies to register to vote, the individual provides documentary proof of U.S. citizenship; and (2) requires states to establish an alternative process under which an applicant may submit other evidence to demonstrate U.S. citizenship. Each state must take affirmative steps on an ongoing basis to ensure that only U.S. citizens are registered to vote, which shall include establishing a program to identify individuals who are not U.S. citizens using information supplied by certain sources. Additionally, states must remove noncitizens from their official lists of eligible voters. The bill allows for a private right of action against an election official who registers an applicant to vote in a federal election who fails to present documentary proof of U.S. citizenship. The bill establishes criminal penalties for certain offenses, including registering an applicant to vote in a federal election who fails to present documentary proof of U.S. citizenship

Just so i understand your stance, only having eligible American citizens vote is only beneficial to 'white republicans'? How so? The majority of mail in votes tend to support the Democratic candidate. Which is why Trump wants to stop it. Alabama requires a state id, but how many have had to show proof of citizenship?
