Ive read not to use pressure treated due to corrosion possibility on aluminum but untreated wont last too long. What's the consensus on aldeer.
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts,hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

I have done a lot of research on this lately as I'm probably going to have to replace some before too much longer.
The two big things I've read are to NOT use PT lumber but rather untreated lumber, and to leave the underside of the bunk UNcarpeted so as to allow the wood to dry out more thoroughly between uses.

You gonna leave the wood bare or cover with carpet? Marine grade carpet will protect the boat from the PT chemicals. You could get a roll of the butyl tape used to cover the joists on a wooden deck and cover the bunk boards with it then carpet the bunks for extra protection and piece of mind. Or put the poly bunk slicks on them... just make sure you don't unhook the strap from the bow eye until the boat is in the water; heard bunch of stories about peoples boats sliding off the trailer. Just be sure to use SS or PT rated hardware.

Cypress wood is, by far, the best. But, quite expensive. Our Young 20 came on a Rolls Axle aluminum tandem trailer with cypress bunks. We had it over 10 years and had zero problems with the bunks.

https://ultimatebunkboards.com/is the answer you seek. If you install them, no carpet needed, and NEVER unhook your boat until it's touching the water and you have a line on it. Loads easy, unloads easy, will not rot. I had a set on a jon boat for about 10 years, and I think they are still on that trailer.

Just be sure to use SS or PT rated hardware. Would imagine the PT chemicals would leach through the carpet, with that said, we're not talking the same chemicals that was once used fo sho! I just replaced mine with Gatorbak covers really nice, but not worth what i payed for it

I used the PT lumber, but the entire piece is carpeted. You could buy untreated lumber and apply a couple of coats of used motor oil mixed 50/50 with diesel, then carpet. I also use rubber washers to avoid direct contact between the SS lag screws and trailer.

I read your post this morning and made a picture of my trailer when I went to the lake. This has gotta be the best solution possible. This is the excellent trailer that came with my G3 aluminum boat. I don't know if the wood they originally used was PT or not, but it rotted out after 14 years. I replaced it with PT 2x4s, but it has thick plastic bunk covers that will prevent any chemical reactions with the aluminum. They also keep the boat from sliding; I don't have to hook it up when pulling the boat out. I don't know where to get these, but they are much better than carpet.
