There's a group of people up here that crack me up by swearing that the monitors on traffic lights in intersections are Flock cameras watching our every move. They act like I crazy when explaining those things simply monitor the intersection for activity to tell the light when it needs to change for optimum flow.
If they actually changed for optimum flow then folks would believe you. All they seem to do is back traffic up more and piss folks off.
