No answers yet? I reccommend a fixed pin sight. Most bows today shoot flat enough that I would think that there would not be much need for a pendelum out to 30 yds.

Depends on how high you climb or how deep a hollow you're shooting down into. Extreme angle changes everything. My favorite was the old Eliminator Sight. Still have 1 that I put sealed bearings on to eliminate the 'buzz" when the string bottomed out when shooting. Built a few on a different design and got a provisional patent but never moved on it.

Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

Pendulum sights are pretty well obsolete with the speeds today's bows shoot. I used a Keller for one season back about 14 or 15 years ago. Joker was noisy, sounded like someone wrapping a bucket of bolts around a tree when you shot. grin The best I have seen and the quietest is the Savage. I'm not sure if they even make them anymore.

Savage is what I have. I think savage went out of business though. You can check for a website I guess.

They may be obsolete but I still use one. If it works why change. The one I use now was made by Impact Archery and it's probably 6 yrs old before that I used one called the Eliminator.

I don't understand the accuracy of one. The pendulum sight will never change in its articulation or swivel as you tilt the bow back and forth. So, how could this aiming system adjust for the "bell curve" of trajectory of the arrow of each bow?

Not condemning you though.

I guess Shaw's word has always been golden to me and I understand his reasoning.

Anyway, good luck with it! smile
