Nikki Haley is another warmonger, like ol' Lindsey, so she could probably waltz right in and never miss a beat......err... weapons deal.
That may be the plan. She could easily close out Lindsey's deals and save his staff and hide his secrets.
Regardless, the person appointed is only there until January. The state law there says there will be a special republican primary on August 11th for the November general election republican candidate.
