Well, who appoints the next, yes I know the Governor, how much influence from President Trump.
McMaster (the Guv) is a big time neo-con. He says he supports Trump but he doesn’t like immigration enforcement or lowering taxes all that much, unless it’s for a Fortune 500 company or folks in the top tax bracket. I’m sure he’ll appoint someone similar to Graham for the time being. His Lt governor lost in the GOP primary not long ago, maybe she gets the appointment or someone like Nikki Haley. Certainly the appointment will not be someone who is in complete lockstep with Trump. Graham talked a big game but when it came to the populist issues he was one of the biggest roadblocks to the alleged Trump agenda.
