They also sued farmers for planting RoundUp Ready seed, from the previous year’s harvested crop, without paying the technology fee (paid on each new bag of seed, at the time)….and won. Big north Mississippi farmer. You probably know of him. I do. It was a jaw-dropper (farmers’). Most everybody I know operates(ed) under the assumption that they’ve paid the Tech Fee when they planted the seed they bought. Once harvested it belongs to “me” to do with as I wish….sell, replant, use for feed, etc. Nope! WTF?!?!? Seems like I remember the lower end of 20-25million was won by Monsanto.
