Have you ever tried the GopherHawk traps? I own two and won't buy more at $32 a pop. The hard clay here is a bich to try and make the hole with the tool they provide. A garden auger helps a lot. If I weren't mainly using the Mole Reapers and Out 'o sight traps, I'd buy more of the traplines. The downside to them is ya need to stake them or tie them off AND dig them up to check. With that said, a lot of guys LOVE them but I'm not sure they knew how to use their previous traps. If ya have a lot of feeder tunnels popping up above ground these things actually kill a lot of moles. I grabbed two for $14 off a chick and have fun with them. They're just too bulky for me to have a few dozen. Link
