Warren Buffet has been a value investor. He is no longer running the company but the mindset will not change. Value investing has not been very profitable in this bull market. Berkshire has made many people a lot of money through the years. Buffet's investing style has worked for a long time and will work again. That said I don't believe it is a very good bet in the short term. Thats the current problem with Berkshire and others like them. Right now, the market is not following the fundamentals at all and until it breaks it wont be. That said it might be good to have some Berkshire on hand for when the markets' shenanigans finally come to a head.
