Just looked out the window and my truck is parked in the lot below, with 2 Denalis. The contrast is astounding and I actually feel bad for my truck. There are still mud stains on the roof and down both sides of my truck from this past weekend (it's been rained on everyday since Saturday, otherwise the mud itself would still be there). The 2 Denalis are both shiny, completely spotless, and look like they just drove off the showroom floor.
I know both of the Denali owners (nice guys but neither needs a truck and especially not a 4wd) and I can assure you, with 100% certainty, that neither truck has ever left the pavement or has ever been put in 4WD since the day they were purchased. You Crocker, and Cowboy, are the exceptions to the rule for, not all, but the majority of Denali owners.

It is a pretty nice truck though. Mine stays in a pasture, covered in crap , as much as its on the road though!

Hell remember many years back when Apparently the most popular thing to do around Mobile (sure was everywhere else too)was to see who could buy their kid the nicest Duramax to drive to Private school 🤦🏿♂️ Damn sho helped the prices go up on diesels back then imo

I may be wrong, but I remember growing up GMC was considered more of a work, or heavier duty truck than Chevy. It's all marketing. Just like people will argue all day long that "premium" gas has more "power" than regular gas, when the truth is that regular gas actually contains more BTU's than premium, it's just that premium has more anti-knock compounds in it. And that's pretty much it.

I may be wrong, but I remember growing up GMC was considered more of a work, or heavier duty truck than Chevy. Same. GMC for working and Chevy for riding. We had both F150s and Sierras on the farm, as Dad was friends with both dealership owners. He alternated between them when he got a new truck every 5 or 6 years, until they both went out of business (GMC first, so last 2 new trucks were Ford). Now days 1/2 ton market is like women….they all got issues, you just gotta pick the one with issues you can accept, and live with, and roll on with life.

I haven't checked half ton in a while, but I believe the only two engine options are the 6.2 gas and the 3.0 Duramax. 3/4 and one tons have L8T 400ci or the Duramax.

Good thing this doesn't apply to me. I have an AT4, not Denali. Yours has mountain bikes and kayaks permanently attached even though it's never left the pavement. My SLT came with a lifetime AARP membership and priority seating at Cracker Barrel dinner before 5 PM. LOL. Coincidentally....I loaded up the bikes in it yesterday to take the wife down to the island for some riding! LOL

My son has a Denali and that video nailed him to a tee. Has his gold clubs and two bungee cords in the back and that’s about it. Wouldn’t even know how to put it in 4WD if his life depended on it. I will say the few times I’ve borrowed it, thing rides like a dream.
