Paid $5800 today for a 2.5 ton Grandaire heat pump. It’s made by Carrier with a 10 year warranty. It’s a standard, no frills unit and is around 16 seer. I am very pleased with the cooling ability and noise level. Installed by a local guy that has done my work for years. Southeast Alabama. 10 yr warranty on “parts only”. Most likely only fully covered for 1 yr. That’s a pretty decent price in today’s current market.
