Who called the medics? They're the ones needing a chewing. Medics have a job to do. Those situations were always difficult when I was in the fire service.

Simple answer is don't call until they're cold. It's a mercy. I get it. But I've walked into plenty of conflict where daughter didn't want to let go, son was ready and following the families wishes. And the deceased had a damned brawl because adults couldn't act like adults. It's usually the females that can't let go. The men understand and want the peaceful release to Jesus.

Momma called them, then me. Kinda hard to say anything to her for wanting her husband to live.
I guess I never answered the OPs question though. Death is nothing to fear, we all have it coming. It's just the fact we don't want to die. We all just need to make sure that we are ready with the only true God.
