Bunch of pansy ass drama queens. If they played 5 minutes of rugby, they'd run and hide and never be seen again

Men playing boys tonight. USA got mauled. Belgium was faster, more aggressive, more coordinated, had better players, and their defense was suffocating. The goals we gave up were way too easy. Anyway, since USA won’t be playing as a host nation for a while, me and Mrs. Bamaeyedoc went to a watch party at a local watering hole and had a great time despite the outcome! Think I’m gonna find a Viking helmet like Irishguy and pull for Norway now!

The biggest part of the World Cup is all the other countries live for America and its culture

Too bad the leftist hate it and it takes visitors to point out all that is good.

i do admit that many players “play it up” - but getting the hell kicked out of your shin is no joke

Hitting you shin on a trailer hitch is almost as bad as stepping on a Lego.

It's embarrassing. I imagine players on the World Cup level have to take acting classes before they're cleared to play.

I’m not ready to talk about it yet……

They looked really good (relative to how they’ve looked the last +/-20yrs) this whole tournament. I never had any illusions that we’d go deep into the knockout round, but never thought we’d go out like that

The stage was just too big for them. They folded like a cheap suit, when the pressure was applied. Had they played with confidence and kept their composure, they had a good chance to move on to the 8s, but failed to do so. I'm not a big fan of bad acting and faking injuries but I watched about 25 minutes of it last night, and it was obvious that the US team was bad rattled and making rookie mistakes in all facets of the game. Missed 3 or 4 really clean looks on goal. Defense was sub-par to non-existent at times. The goalie's play speaks for itself. I dont believe it was, but some of bad play almost looked intentional.

Some of the old ESPN commercials were awesome mocking this!

to use an analogy, USA soccer is still college level while other countries are NFL/pro level … having said that, this world cup has seen Germany, Brazil, Portugal, etc go home & those countries/teams are usually in contention 🤷🏻‍♂️ the take-aways from Belgium really surprised me - when our best players were driving the ball, Belgium defenders would block & take it away like they were children 😳 never seemed like we could ever exert any real offensive pressure on them …

Soccer is the most popular sport in the “world” because it’s the cheapest sport to play. All you need is a ball and some boundaries to kick it through. Don’t box soccer players though, they have the best cardio.

the Belgian old folks got waxed by a better, younger Spanish side yesterday. Spain's cucarella (the little fizzy haired guy) and Olmo (the bleached blonde guy) can run forever, it seems. cucarella looks like he could run a marathon uphill right AFTER a hard match. France still should beat 'em in the semis. Haaland vs Kane should be a buster today. England SHOULD win because Norway is susceptible to quick, deep counters ...
