I’ve never watched a professional soccer game in my life but that was enjoyable and intense! USA!! Being outnumbered and not just surviving but still taking the attack to them felt like the most American thing ever.

That was great!! That free kick Tillman made was something else!! That red card was crap. The red card was absolute BS. A yellow, sure…but it was completely unintentional. Both players were going for the ball and the Bosnia players foot actually tripped Dalogun first causing him to stumble. They can (and likely will) appeal it, but the odds of it being turned over are slim. And yeah, the free kick goal was a rocket. Goalkeeper knew exactly where it was going and even got a hand on it and still couldn’t do anything with it.

I thought it was fake news until I got home and saw it was legit. It’s the right call but I’m shocked they made it. Belgium has looked unimpressive so far…pretty inconsistent…I like our chances, especially with him back in the lineup

We’re looking at going to a watch party tomorrow night to see the USA v. Belgium just for the experience! Not a soccer fan but I am enjoying watching the World Cup. Norway beat Brazil today which was nice.

my bride, somehow, someway, has become an Erling Haaland fan. after yesterday's two goals, it is understandable. big, quick, strong, goofy guy. he'd have grown a tight end down here. all the positive videos posted by foreign soccer fans visiting for the world cup are incredibly refreshing.
