Also predates being married and having kids. Back when I thought I'd live forever and was 10ft tall and bullet proof. Kids came along and gave me a whole new perspective on life. Cut grass one summer with a push mower to buy my first.

If I remember correctly, a hand climber at K-Mart was $13.00. I bow hunted out of mine a lot. I did use a home made harness and strapped the top blade to the tree. I still have it hanging in my barn.

Grandma said...Always keep a gun close at hand, you just never know when you might run across some varmint that needs killing...

Had one back in the day. Climbed a many trees with it. No harness either.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I climbed with mine one season . Left that piece of crap hanging on the tree when the season was over.Last time I looked it was still there with the tree grown into it. Frame only. The wood had rotted away.

I’ve hunted out of a baker but my go to was an amaker dt3 which weighed 35 pounds and I carried that thing miles and miles, that was before I got a 3 wheeler and then a 4 wheeler and them a sxs. I would kill me now at 60 to tote that thing out through the middle of a cutover to hunt a smz

That's very similar to the ones Buckscent made a decade or so ago.

Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

Hunted occasionally growing up but when I went didn’t think twice about using a baker, no harness either but after pulling up my gun I would use that rope and tie myself to the tree, incase I fell asleep was the main reason
