It's interesting as I read these types of threads to read people's comments who claim to be Christians actually get really mean spirited when other people don't believe exactly the same way that they do. You don't convert people to your way of thinking by being an asshole. I mean, I guess it's worked pretty for Muslims over the centuries, but it seems counterintuitive to Christianity. I certainly hope I have not come across that way. I apologize if I have. On that subject, sometimes people get offended when people try to point out something no matter how you try to come across. It's a defensive mechanism. If I honestly believe in my heart something is good for you and try to present it to you, it's because of concern for your wellbeing. Should I be arrogant about it or mean spirited? Absolutely not. I akin it to a doctor finding something wrong with your heart and telling you that you need to lose weight or cut something out of your diet. It might hurt your feelings a little but he's saying it to try to help you. We don't get mad at the doctor do we? Have a good Sunday guys!
The true mark of a man is not how he conducts himself during times of prosperity, but how he conducts himself during times of adversity.
