It's interesting as I read these types of threads to read people's comments who claim to be Christians actually get really mean spirited when other people don't believe exactly the same way that they do. You don't convert people to your way of thinking by being an asshole. I mean, I guess it's worked pretty for Muslims over the centuries, but it seems counterintuitive to Christianity.

I don't believe God wants us to come to him out of fear, fear of death, fear of Hell, etc... I think he wants us to come to him out of love and thankfulness and of our free will. Why else would he give us free will?

I certainly don't know everything, I don't claim to. I just have my internal way that I envision God through prayer asking God that he lead me to a greater understand and lead me in the way that he wants me to go. I find other folk's interpretation of scripture and how others see God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, Angels, etc... to be interesting, but I'm not actively trying to convert anyone to my way of thinking. My personal relationship with God is just that, personal. Even Boho believes differently than I do on certain aspects of Christianity. We both believe in the basics and both view most of the rest of it as religious dogma for other people to get mad at each other about.
