Fair question. For my answer I refer you to Kyle Butt. He has spent many years refuting the "evidence" of evolution. Do a search for "Kyle Butt evolution" and you will find many articles and also videos he has published. He has debated on this subject quite a lot and his explanation is much better than I can word it.
