Our own Clem, and I agree that the worst travesty is what has happened to the Montgomery Advertiser and the local Montgomery news for keeping up with state politics. Our own capital city does not have any kind of real news coverage for what is going on in the dumpster fire that is our state house. I know many former Advertiser employees who got canned when Gannet bought them out. Gannet is USA Today, and they made a point of trimming all the folks who spent years developing relationships for getting coverage within the capital complex and they were made gone overnight.
