I’m going to keep distance between me and an armed person and try to deescalate the situation at all costs. Advancing on someone clearly upset who’s waving a firearm is a terrible decision. I don’t think she should’ve shot him if he hadn’t already clearly demonstrated violent behavior, but we don’t know.
I say she’ll catch a manslaughter charge with a reduced sentence at most. This.

There's plenty of retarded to go around in this situation. She was clearly looking for an opportunity to brandish and use her weapon. Like others have said, this guy's retardism and ego wouldn't let him walk off. Since there's not clear audio at least from this video, she may very well say he was verbalizing actionable threats and she was in fear due to him (repeatedly) circling back to her and threatening her.

I don’t think so. I wasn't implying she was justified. Just that he was stupid for continuing in his actions (and like Johnny said, he ain't stupid no more). And that she may very well tell a good enough tale to get off.

She’d walk if I was on the jury. He doesn’t have to be on her to be justified. His maneuvering tells everything a Grand Jury or Jury needs to send her home for the holidays.

This is just so tame (to me) compared to all the violence that happens every day without someone getting shot.
There was zero violence in this clip actually besides the shooting. How many actual fist fights and up in each others’s faces screaming happens every day? A lot. You can’t shoot someone for just this. I’d never put myself in that situation though. We shall see.

I say self defense. He knew she had the gun. He still was coming at her. I would not have shot him at that point but if she felt threatened more power to her. It’s sad that all he had to do was walk away and he would still be alive. All that over a parking spot. Also the woman could have gotten in her car and drove off and she wouldn’t have the issues that come with ending someone’s life.

From what I've read, he did walk away and she went after him When he walked in front of the white car and was walking away she should have stayed where she was, at the rear of the white car. Instead she started after him taunting him with the gun. Stupidly he turned and came back. But her coming after him and the taunting make her culpable as well in my mind. She will get off with a lite sentence if any at all.

By the looks of that video clip it does not look like stand your ground because he never went towards her and did not have a weapon. Pwyse all she had to do was walk away. Instead she had already pulled the gun. I think she had already made her mind up when the first words were spewed.
