In terms of what’s legal/legal outcome, as I see she will skate for two reasons; she’s a black woman and she’ll say she feared for her life. Agree with the points you made. Both made choices that were quite dumb. Florida's "Stand-Your-Ground Law" has been upheld often though the other video shows her going back to her car and then getting out of her car with the pistol. Him "almost" leaving and then returning would be points in her favor as he then advanced on her. Just from the video and what was written she would not of been in threat of her life if she had just drove off. The man would not be dead if he would of just drove off. If these two do not tie for Walmart idiot of the day they gotta be at least a close 2nd.

I’m going to keep distance between me and an armed person and try to deescalate the situation at all costs. Advancing on someone clearly upset who’s waving a firearm is a terrible decision. I don’t think she should’ve shot him if he hadn’t already clearly demonstrated violent behavior, but we don’t know.
I say she’ll catch a manslaughter charge with a reduced sentence at most.

There's more video out there that shows them presumably talking at each other before the shooting. We don't know what the discussion was that could support either action. I thought the shot was premature. But what if the man was walking around saying I'm gonna kill you? Just another case that needs more facts brought up.

Unarmed vs armed? I saw a guy walking and talking, I didn’t see him “threatening”. At least “NOTHING” like the Popeyes chicken screaming matches you see online. If you can shoot an unarmed individual from 6-8’ away what can you do to the protesters that scream in your face? This could set a presidence.
