Don't have it on deer or a bullseye target but I get it sometimes on a black 3d target. Can't tell you why that is may have something to do with it looking like a blob and not being able to pick a spot. Years ago If my pin ever got below the target I couldn't get my pin back up to the target. It was like my bow weighed 1000lbs
