11 yr low with a 3.81 dividend.
I think Nike was the original “woke” brand. 🙄
Feelings are out of my investment process now, I may buy some.
Just a FYI
I like ONON better right now but they don’t pay ANY dividends.

Yup. I find it hard to believe that Nike could go the same way Sears went, but unless they get another Michael Jordan or some major ghetto demand they wont be back to what they once were.

My problem with Nike stock is that even after a 75% drawdown in 5 years, the PE ratio is still above 20 with zero growth.

For some reason I’m drawn to big company’s that pay a decent dividend, especially if they’re on sale.
Sony, SAP, CAG, HD, GIS, BGS, Nike?
HD is up 11% in the last month btw.

I own a nice chunk of an MLP that has a 5.9% dividend return. I get a check for .55 a share every three months. And they have raised their dividend every year for over 25 years.

I forgot and left KHC off the list. They’ve improved the last couple of months too and 6.33 div.
I’m tickled to death. I don’t think they’re going anywhere.

I just can't bring myself to buy Nike stock. I've boycotted their products for years due to their far left-wing stance on social/political issues as I don't want my money going to support that crap. Some folks see it different than me and thats ok by me but I'm not going to support them.

Master Limited Partnership. Lots of companies that move oil and gas from point A to point B are setup as MLP's.

You sent me down a rabbit hole with that earlier. 😄
I just bought some PFE today, instead of Nike. It’s at about a 1 yr low with 7.08 div.

Owned Nike back in mid to late 80s and sold for nice profit after waiting a year or so. I don’t trust the market anymore after folks began day trading. I would look at Value Line and analyze different companies then invest typically longer term.

Good looking buy. I'm gonna do some research , I may have to have some of that also.

"Why do you ask"?

Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.

These 3-7% dividends are gonna be paying me 6-14% when they go back to where they were. If they do of course. SCHD has a cult following and people are making a living off of it that bought in at the beginning. I just don’t see how buying these high div companies on sale is any riskier than what most people are investing in today. I just buy what I can when I can. I wish I had more to put in. It’s the first hobby I’ve ever had that’s making $ instead of costing me.
I spend 15 min in the morning drinking coffee, a few minutes at lunchtime and at night reading and researching.
I really enjoy it.

Burbank, strategy was on my watch list and I almost bought some strk (not STRC).
Bitcoin is at a crossroads right now, just this morning I read where there were some huge purchases of bitcoin which indicates a bottom, but banks don’t want bitcoin to succeed basically.
I’ve listened to Michael Saylor interviews over and over, I just don’t trust him or their model.
It all revolves around people buying more bitcoin. Not a Ponzi scheme exactly but similar.
People are getting rich on crypto (some) but it’s not where I want my $.
