Cracks me up also when I see the Northeast "hot" . Buncha whining sissies. In their defense, a lot of them don't have AC, especially in older homes/buildings. Not necessarily for "environmental" reasons like Paris, but just because it's not needed often. I dated a girl in college from Northern Indiana and her parents' home didn't have AC....just ceiling fans. She said it was rarely an issue. I visited once during the summer and it was pleasant inside just with the fans going and windows open. The problem is once a year they do get a legit heat wave, it sucks. Yep! Most I knew didn't have AC. My Uncle who lived in Michigan, never had AC. Window unit in the bedroom was about it. Hell i remember back in the days when a lot of the Grandparents were the only one's who had AC in the bedroom (one in family room) now folks sacrifice themselves to keep the chittlens comfortable 😆
