Thanks for taking the time to respond, I appreciate it. One thing I would note, for your consideration. If you remove the proofing into existence out of thin air, science has no explanation for the beginning. If you believe He did it at any time in history, why not when He said He did it? I’m not sure what I’m missing on that one……Genesis said he created the animals first and then created man…..That’s exactly how it would have occurred from an evolutionary standpoint…..There were animals and then humans emerged from them……I don’t take the part about us being created from the dust as having to be literal…..Like I said in the last post I wouldn’t expect a human of thousands of years ago to explain it in modern scientific terms nor would I expect them to fully understand such…..They told it in stories and then eventually wrote it down to the best of what an ancient vocabulary could describe……I mean for anyone who has no clue about genetic mutations and how creatures change over the course of thousands of years, etc, etc…..poofing into existence from the dust seems like a very reasonable explanation for them to describe where this new creature came from……I don’t hold that against them.....I feel like that can be taken figuratively So, you don’t believe creation from the dust is literal, but you do believe that He created some form of life that we then evolved from? Just trying to understand your position.
