I wouldn’t necessarily say that……I’m not sure what all you have to believe to qualify as one……I don’t believe that a modern human just poofed into existence, no…….I think we came from an earlier line of primates to which something miraculous happened to them that separated them from all the other animals in the form of “knowledge”……It doesn’t make sense to me to tie my thinking to a literal account of an ancient story that was told….In doing so folks have to start completely ignoring what science shows us to be reality so that the literal narrative holds together….This is where I diverge from a lot of other folks in how I look at the situation…..To accept that we came from a more primitive animal does not make the whole God concept crumble in my mind …..nor does it make the Bible somehow irrelevant…..I cant go with this idea that we have to take it literally and participate in intellectual dishonesty or willful ignorance to make it work
